Brewing Pureh Tea:
Wash the leaves before brewing - pour hot water over leaves, swirl and tip the water out. For a concentrated brew, use 2 teaspoons per 100mls brewed for 3-5 minutes in water at 100 degrees Celsius. For a clear red brew, use 1 teaspoon per 200mls brewed for 2-3 minutes in water at 100 degrees Celsius.
Brewing of Genmaicha
The water to steep this tea should typically be about 80–85 °C (176–185 °F). A steeping time of 3–5 minutes is recommended, depending on desired strength and the source of the tea - some sources recommend as little as one minute of brewing time.
